Inspired by the great stories from Ovid`s Metamorphoses and Carl Jung`s observations on hubris, Wingfall takes the spectator on an exciting projection mapped journey set in neo ancient Japan, exploring what happens when we are gripped by passion.

This short film is a co-production bringing together one of the top stunt teams and one of the most important international theatre companies both based in Japan.

Directed by James Sutherland and Chuck Johnson, starring Tatsuya Yasumoto and Satohiro Shirao, with choreography and movement design from Wadi Jones, and rigging specialists from America (Matrix, Mission Impossible), this is a true international collaboration not to be missed. Wingfall will have its debut in Pafos, Cyprus at the EU Capital City of Culture Festival in 2017.

As Jung observed, “Through pride we are ever deceiving ourselves. But deep down below the surface … a still, small voice says to us, something is out of tune.”
